Cleaner

Permanent

Grade 1 – £16394 to 16626 (Pro Rata for hours and term time work)

10 hours per week Term time only plus two weeks specifically to be worked in the summer holidays.

The Governing Body at St Marys Primary School are seeking to appoint a cleaner to start work as soon as possible. The successful candidate will need to have good attention to detail, good verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently. In addition you will need to work as part of an established team, use your initiative, be reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.

You will carry out a range of cleaning duties including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, emptying bins, general tidying and cleaning toilets.

You will ensure that areas are cleaned to the highest standards at all times, maintain Health and Safety standard at all times, and ensure equipment is cleaned, maintained and stored correctly.

Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential as full site training is provided
